OCT 2019 VISIT TO THE US SENATE & HOUSE

After two hectic days of prayer and ministry in the offices of the U.S. Senate, on Oct 10, 2019 the LORD wanted me to minister to some of the offices in the U.S. House.

The most important lesson that the LORD kept showing me throughout the prayer walks was the following:

-it’s not a matter of Republican vs. Democrat

-It’s not a matter of Conservative vs. Liberal

-It’s not a matter of Christian vs. nonbelievers

It’s a matter that we have all fallen short of the glory of God, that we all need to repent and sin no more and that we all need to abide in Christ and his word.

It’s a matter that everyone is worthy to a get a knock on their door in order to hear about Christ and to receive prayer should they request it.

Why? Because the LORD chose his children to be the light of the world and to be the salt of the earth. As soon as I started these prayer walks on day 1, I heard the LORD say “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”(Revelation 3:20-21) Immediately I was convicted and I made sure to knock on every door in my path to show them the heart and the spirit of Christ.

During the U.S. House prayer walk, I heard the LORD say “And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” (John 1:5) and “Do to others as you would have them do to you. If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.” (Luke 6:31-33)

In my previous U.S. Senate post, I stated that at first I was only planning to visit conservative/republican offices because I share similar beliefs and also because I was afraid of being rejected by the other party. But the LORD quickly reminded me to go and knock on every door regardless whether they rejected or accepted me. Soon after, I heard the LORD say “Anyone who receives you receives me, and anyone who receives me receives the Father who sent me.” (Matthew 10:40)

So what does a God-fearing, bible-literate, prophetic and discerning servant of the LORD with Jewish descent do when the LORD tells her to knock on the doors of the most ultra-left offices? Again, a part of me was concerned about being insulted or rejected with my bible in my hand but at the end of the day I wanted to obey the LORD and I wanted to show love and compassion to everyone I came across because like myself, they were also facing brutal, spiritual warfare.

Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

It was during these prayer walks that the LORD was showing me that:

1.praying for our enemies is great

2.blessings our enemies is great

3.But showing the heart and spirit of Christ to others at the risk of being hated was the overall purpose of the Great Commission.

One of the many observations I experienced during these prayer walks were the following:

-staff members in both political parties work under very difficult and stressful situations and believe it or not but many requested prayer for protection in the name of Christ

-staff members in both political parties requested prayer for peace, direction, patience, grace and clarity

-staff members in both political parties requested prayer for their Senators’ guidance in leadership

-staff members in both political parties requested prayer for world peace as well as for our nation

-staff members in both political parties requested prayer to be hungry for Christ and to walk in wisdom

Can I just tell you, I was so happy that I obeyed the LORD and that I was led by his Holy Spirit! Just like the LORD moved mightily inside the offices of Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Corey Booker, Senator Schumer, Senator Blumenthal, Senator Hirono, Senator Romney, Senator Rubio, Senator Cruz, Senator Cornyn, Senator Paul, Senator Blackburn, etc the LORD also moved mightily inside the offices of U.S. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib from Michigan and U.S. Congresswoman Maxine Waters from California. Although prayer was turned down inside the office of U.S. Congresswoman Alicia Ocasio Cortez, I was happy to leave scripture on her post-it wall and I prayed a blessing over her in the name of Christ. When it came to the office of U.S. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, I also left a note on the wall inside her office with scripture and a message saying “Jesus loves you.”

Because that my friends is the truth! “Jesus does loves her, Jesus loves you and Jesus loves everyone!” As I prayed with every single person in those offices, I felt the love of Christ towards them so powerfully that at times, I had to control my own emotions.

The lesson that the LORD kept teaching me was that he sees the hearts of people and as his children it is imperative to be led by his Holy Spirit daily so we can evangelize to others with the heart and spirit of Christ with the hope that they repent and receive the gift of salvation. “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” ( 1 Corinthians 13:13)

The other lesson the LORD was showing me was the following:

When I see Jews, Muslims and Catholics hungrier for Christ, hungrier for truth, hungrier for righteousness, hungrier for prayer, hungrier for wisdom and have the reverence and the Fear of God than most Christians this is when the LORD shows me who really are his true sheep.

When I see Jews, Muslims and Catholics whose hearts are purer than most Christians including my own, once again the LORD shows me who really are his true sheep.

When Jews, Muslims and Catholics welcome me more than many "Christians" in the church, the Lord reminds me with "Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me." (Luke 10:16) and "So the last will be first, and the first will be last.” (Matthew 20:16)

FRIENDS THIS IS A HUGE WAKEUP CALL FOR THE CHURCH TO REPENT AND TO SIN NO MORE!

After experiencing these beautiful, encounters with so many nonbelievers who are so hungry for GOD, my heart broke over the current rebellion, pride, worldliness, ingratitude, self-righteousness and hypocrisy that exists among many in the church. Instead of “being the light of the world and the salt of the earth” many of us in the Church are living out what 2 Timothy 3:2-5 warns about “People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”

Folks, the reality is this:

1. We are living in End Times.

2. Jesus is coming very, very soon.

3. The harvest is plenty but the laborers are few

4. We need to come clean with GOD, we need to STOP playing church and we need to be part of the Great Commission in full force in this hour.

5. The world is crying out for Christ, the world is crying out for Truth, the world is crying out for Peace and it’s time for the church to rise and worship GOD in Spirit and in Truth (Bible) in order to set the captives free.

6. God is not a respecter of persons and remember that judgment starts in his house first.

7. And last but not least, study these scriptures and be doers of the word:

“Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

“It is written: “‘As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’” (Romans 14:11)

“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28)

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14)

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-21)

Please pray for our President, our politicians, their staff members, Congressional candidates, military, prayer warriors, truth tellers, the lost and the broken in the name of Christ.

PRAY FOR ALL PEOPLE SO THEY CAN HAVE AN ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS AND SO THEY CAN LEARN THE TRUTH BY ABIDING IN HIS BIBLE.

Lord we take authority and power that you haven given us in the name of Jesus to uproot, tear down the demonic strongholds and principalities of darkness off America and your nation's capital. We declare peace over every storm that is trying to come against the White House, the Supreme Court and Congress in Jesus name. We declare this nation to be under your lordship where truth, freedom, righteousness, justice and our Judeo-Christian faith will rule and reign over this land once again in Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

May the LORD continue to ordain my feet, may he continue to rebuke me, may he continue to renew my mind, may he continue to clean my heart and may he continue to renew a right spirit within me 24/7.
