7/30/17 MSG FROM JESUS: DEAR CHURCH YOU EXPECT GOD TO SAY "YES & AMEN TO YOU" BUT DO YOU GIVE GOD YOUR "YOUR YES AND AMEN"? #NOTAONEWAYSTREET
It's time for real talk my friends! How many of us want Jesus to answer prayers and to perform miracles in our lives but have we asked the LORD " what can I do for you Lord?" One minute we lift up our arms at church and sing "Jesus you are the way, the truth and the life and we love you" only to find ourselves acting like a bunch of hypocrites and heathens as soon as we leave the church. God said in Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." and yet we continue to hold on to our idols and we continue to live out our lives full of lies and sin!
All Jesus wants is for us to be faithful to him by being holy and pure, to seek his face, to stay cemented on his word and his Holy Spirit but you think that's too much? Did he say it was "too much" when he endured the pain and affliction on the cross for you and for me?
Let me remind you, my Father is not a genie and he doesn't owe us anything and we are no one to demand anything from him either! If that is you, repent, sin no more and lower your tone, your voice and your attitude with GOD. If you refuse to repent, may God rebuke you so fast and so hard you will know he is GOD all by himself and next time you speak to him, you will give him the respect and reverence he deserves inside and outside of church!
Our purpose on earth is to obey Jesus and give him honor, praise and alll the glory. Our lives are meant to please God until the day he calls us to his presence, period.
