May 2019 Msg from JESUS: "WHO WILL STAND IN THE GAP FOR THE CHURCH LEADERS AND PASTORS"?

Fellowship, praise and worship was powerful at house church on Friday night but did you know that 80% of us were spiritually attacked with sickness (i.e. sore throats, headaches, stomach pains, lethargy) as we came together? Oh yes, the devil knew we were a force to be reckoned with and no matter how hard he tried to delay, distract, derail or abort the mission before us he failed in the name of Christ.

The Lord moved mightily and he confirmed his message multiple times throughout the brethren.

One of the topics discussed was "WHO WILL STAND IN THE GAP FOR THE CHURCH LEADERS AND PASTORS"?

The church must wake up from

their slumber,

their laziness,

their apathy,

their entitlement,

their selfish ambitions

and they must start intercessing for their leaders and pastors who are in the front lines of this brutal spiritual war!

Recently, when a friend of mine told me that less than 5% of the church members pray for the pastors at the church that he attends my heart was grieved! Hello?! Who the heck is watching their backs?

Church,

I got news for you, your church leaders are not there to entertain you!

Your church leaders are not there to pull out the red carpet and please you!

Your church leaders are not there to tickle your ears and make you feel good!

Your church leaders are there to "Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching."(2 Timothy 4:2)

"And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh." (Jude 1:22-23)

Dealing With Sin in the Church

“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector. (Matthew 18:15-17)

The role of Church leaders and Pastors are to shepherd the flock in TRUTH and in SPIRIT and just like they look out for us, we must look out for them in heavy prayer in the name of Christ! Displaying sincere encouragement, support and love is important for them to receive as well!

Pastors and their families are the "devil's enemy #1" and if we say they are our church family then shouldn't we be looking out for them? Where are the watchmen on the wall in this hour?

STOP using GOD,

his bible,

his Holy Spirit,

his church,

the Pastors,

the church leaders

or the ministries

for your own personal goals and selfish ambitions and lay out your life for your friends! "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. (John 15:13)

So in closing, please:

STOP saying you love JESUS and your Pastor when you WON'T PRAY for them daily.

STOP saying you love JESUS and your Pastor when your mindset is all about receiving and not giving.

STOP saying you love JESUS and your Pastor when you expect him to do everything and for you to do nothing.

STOP saying you love JESUS and your Pastor when you haven't shed one tear about the brutal spiritual warfare they go through and the sacrifices they've made to fulfill the assignment that GOD has on their life.

If your church has problems, if your Pastor has problems then go to your prayer war room and ask Christ

to intervene, to heal, to restore, to correct or to rebuke.

1 Timothy 2:1-3 Pray for All Men

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
